Mental approach
If results are not satisfactory, we are inclined to look at ‘where it has gone wrong’. That inclination is not very functional. Because ‘wrong’ is associated with blame and guilt and a feeling of guilt always costs energy. Energy to recognize the error or initially to keep up the denial, to think up excuses… in short, all matters that use up energy that can be better used elsewhere. CiEP is about what works and not about ‘right or wrong’.
Conscious work habits
If results are wanted that give energy, then it doesn’t pay to ask what one’s doing wrong. You get more out of examining your own work habits – in a neutral manner without making a judgment. Does this habit work, yes or no? If yes, keep it! If no, then determine what does work or what works better. That way you choose time and again for results that you do want.
DO I HAVE TO CHANGE? No. Nobody changes through CiEP. What CiEP does, however, is enable you to develop effective work habits. For that you need to look at the way you work, at the results that you achieve by doing that and the extent to which you are satisfied with them. Through self-examination you discover the areas in which you can grow, where CiEP can be of value to you.
About CiEP
As an individual coaching program, CiEP offers returns in a variety of terrains. Time gain is one example, this generally lies measurably between 10 and 20%. In total this means about half to whole working day per person per week! The time gained is closely tied to a number of crucial plus points inherent to the CiEP way of working. You can think about benefits in terms of:
- quality
- productivity
- transparency
- initiative and results-orientedness
Companies and organizations that are going through or have been through a CiEP program, are always talking about having tangibly more pleasure in doing their work, of improved involvement and satisfaction and a better work/life balance.
